Resistance(Fusing Items)

Resistance is an important aspect of Nostale. When you first start off, playing the game, you probably won't have to worry to much about resistance. However, as you advance in the game and the monster get stronger, you'll realize the importance of resistance and the difference it can make in battle. This is where fusion comes in. Fusing items can be done at Raul Endinel. Here's a little information on the rules and basics of fusing.

• After you fuse the items, the resistance from both items will combine.
• Fusing can only be done with gloves and shoes.
  
• Fusing must be done with two of the same type of items. For example, you cannot combine a glove and a shoe. You can combine 2 gloves or 2 shoes.
• When fusing, the item on the left box, along with it's defense stats, will be retained. In other words if you have an item with a certain effect you want to keep such as +10 resistance, then put it in the left box.
• Fusing can be done a total of 6 times. The probability of success goes down each time.
• To fuse items, you need sands of dona river and gold.
• You can fuse 2 items that have both been previously fused. For example, you can fuse a 2sum item with a 3sum item, as long as it doesn't surpass 6 sums.
